The IBM Cybersecurity Services practice helps clients protect their business assets and intellectual property in their transformation to Hybrid Cloud and AI environments. Cybersecurity Services enable new opportunities of developing our client’s business in safe and compliant way. We provide expertise and solutions in the following security domains: Security Intelligence & Operations Consulting (SIOC); Data Security; Identity & Access Management Infrastructure and Endpoint Security (IES) and/or Security Strategy Risk and Compliance (SSRC). Our goal is to improve Security Maturity of our customers and prepare them for the upcoming Cybersecurity challenges by advising and implementing Zero Trust Security by Design and Quantum Safe solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an IBM Consulting Associate you will work with the latest technologies and collaborate with team members to create real impact for our clients and the greater world. As an Associate Threat Intelligence Consultant in Cybersecurity Services you will:

• Drive Business Impact: Collaborate with team members to define and implement cybersecurity solutions that protect our clients’ businesses and enable their growth in AI and Hybrid Cloud taking into account privacy and security requirements
• Develop Expertise: Develop technical and business expertise in cybersecurity domains such as Security Intelligence and Operations Consulting (SIOC) Data Security Identity & Access Management Infrastructure and Endpoint Security (IES) and Security Strategy Risk and Compliance (SSRC) and share this with colleagues and clients
• Contribute to Growth: Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of IBM Cybersecurity Services
• Work with the Latest Technologies: Work with the latest technologies and tools to define requirements design develop and implement cybersecurity solutions in an Agile project environment
• Deliver Results: Gain expertise in planning design management execution and reporting of establishing a modern data platform and advise design and provide implementation support for data solutions on virtualized and cloud-based environments including hosted and on-premise solutions
• Transform Client Businesses: Participate in consulting projects or initiatives and experience firsthand how we help transform our clients’ businesses.
• Co-create Solutions: Work closely with clients to understand their industry challenges and goals and develop tailored solutions to help them achieve their objectives
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement business solutions that drive business outcomes
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously learn and develop your skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Education: Strong academic background and Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Management Data Science Mathematics Business Economics or Business and Management and a passion for technology
• Early Professionals Welcome: 0-2 years of work experience with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Key Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience in creating engaging presentations using PowerPoint and other tools.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and data handling tools with the ability to analyze and manipulate data effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues clients and stakeholders.
  • Soft skills including attention to detail time management adaptability and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote or in-person setting using a range of tools and platforms including JIRA Monday.com Box.com and Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluency in English and Arabic with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
• Location and Eligibility: Must reside or have nationality in Qatar and be eligible to work for at least 12 months starting September 2024.
