Automation QA Engineer

About the role

The QA Automation Engineer will be working along our team in developing and maintaining the QA Automation tests for mobile, web and API testing as well as collaborating with engineering and product teams to write test plans, test suites that guarantee the quality of our SaaS platform. Success in this role is demonstrated by translating business requirements that have an impact on our SaaS platform into automated test plans and suites that help speed up development and guarantee the quality of releases prior to deployment to production.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of comprehensive and sustainable QA automation tests according to the roadmap,
• Development and execution of automated test scripts, test plans, and test cases for web, API and mobile,
• Maintain high quality, clean and understandable code base,
• Take part in the research and selection of tools and technologies for the QA Automation framework,
• Take part in the development of a comprehensive and scalable QA Automation framework,
• Work closely with the development teams to align with the development process;

Your profile

• Experience in developing QA Automation tests according to business requirements,
• High level of proficiency in testing tools - Playwright, Selenium, Cypress methodologies, as well as associated best practices,
• Experience with OOP languages or scripting languages, as well as with software development best practices (i.e. SOLID, Design Patterns),
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes backed up with experience in integrating QA processes into the pipelines will be considered an advantage,
• Experience with or understanding of Detox will be considered an advantage,
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile start-up environment and deliver innovative solutions,
• Fluency in English;
