Azure Cloud Architect/Engineer

For our client in the banking sector in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Azure Cloud Architect/Engineer - Kubernetes.

Your Responsabilities:

• Work closely with vendor teams to satisfy business requirements for fast paced development and guide them to develop cloud applications as per their technology standards and requirements
• Collaborate with CTOs, Azure Factory team and other governance/support teams to design the Migration Factory Cloud components
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-availability solutions on Azure
• Optimize cloud infrastructure to meet operational and business requirements
• Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of Kubernetes clusters
• Work closely with development teams to align infrastructure with application needs
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Your Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Proven track record in architecture, design and developing scalable, resilient applications in the azure cloud
• Strong understanding and implementation experience of the microservices architecture, design constructs using Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure Key Vault, Apigee API Gateway, Trident, Key Vault and other Azure components for encryption and communication
• Implementation experience in Oracle, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud concepts. Having AZ-900, AZ-104 certification is added advantage
• Having a good connect in the WMPC GOTO technology is added advantage
• Hands-on knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Helm)
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and familiar with regulatory frameworks
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
