This opportunity is for a Software Engineer on the Power Hybrid Cloud development team to deliver new features improvements and business value to the Power Hybrid Cloud Offerings. This role requires strong technical and problem-solving skills the ability to collaborate with cross functional and cross geographical teams and knowledge of cloud “infrastructure as a service” technologies. The ideal candidate for this position will have an established background in software development agile methodologies DevOps practices be motivated to acquire new skills and achieve results in a fast-paced environment be client-focused and passionate about innovative technology. The candidate should be interested in Cloud Engineering and its impact on greater business practices.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 3+ years experience in developing software
• 2-3 years experience in developing software using languages such as Golang Java Python C++ or Ruby.
• Experience with open-source technology and systems engineering.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX • Knowledge of Cloud DevOps tools: Git Jenkins

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• 2-3 years experience in a Cloud Engineer role or related position.
• 2-3 years experience in JSON Web Services and Components
• 3+ years experience in web development technologies such as: HTML4/5 CSS2/3 JavaScript Typescript ReactJS NodeJS; Redux with GraphQL on server side; RESTful Applications
