Your Role and Responsibilities
Watsonx Code Assistant is an exciting new offering from IBM that strives to revolutionize enterprise software development with Generative AI. We need your expertise your motivation and your collaboration to take watsonx Code Assistant to the next level. As a backend developer you will be responsible for designing and developing the microservices “behind” watsonx Code Assistant and the integration into IDE’s that interact with our Large Language Models.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 2+ years of experience as developer
• Python and TypeScript programming.
• Microservices architecture and design
• Source control management preferably Git

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with AI / ML models and evaluation techniques including Large Language Models
• Experience in the analysis of programming languages including parsing techniques or syntax trees
• Experience with IDE Language Servers and the Language Server Protocol (LSP)
• Experience developing in Java
• Working with SQL and No-SQL databases
• Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Experience with Cloud Platforms i.e. IBM Cloud AWS Azure
• Fluent in German
