Backend Engineer (Mobile Team)

YOUR IMPACT:
— Take ownership upon services/features/technical tasks/MVP’s;
— Implement new services/features as a backend developer;
— Support movement from monolith to microservices.
ABOUT YOU:
— 5+ experience in backend development;
— Experience with Symfony/Laravel (Symfony 6.4 is used);
— Experience with PHP 8.0 or higher (8.2 is used);
— Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL;
— Experience with Redis;
— Experience with Microservices (communication, patterns, development process);
— Experience with Linux, CI/CD, Docker, background processing;
— Practical experience with SOLID and design patterns, 12 Factor App;
— Able to cover new code with unit tests (test cases, coverage management);
— Fast learner, thirsty for knowledge.
WOULD BE A PLUS:
— Experience with Async Communication (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, Amazon SQS etc);
— Experience with AWS, Kubernetes/Helm, Istio;
— Experience with Search Engine (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr, etc);
— Experience (pet-projects or commercial) with Go (modules, go-kit) or other compiled languages (Java, C#, etc)
— Experience creating architecture artifacts using PlantUML or Mermaid;
— Experience with other DB’s (Clickhouse, MongoDB, etc.);
— Experience in documenting requirements and specifications.
