BPI Engineer - Senior

Ready to lead transformational change? Join us as the Lean Management and Continuous Improvement Lead. With a Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of experience, you'll drive lean workshops, lead projects, and implement Six Sigma initiatives to achieve remarkable cost savings. Fluent in English and Spanish, you'll mentor teams, build relationships, and travel (50-75%) to optimize operations. How you will contribute • Lead Lean workshops, Kaizen trainings and activities across the region, including Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Risk Management, Gate Reviews, Control Plans, JIT Delivery, Labor Balancing, Capacity studies• Mentor/coach employees in Lean concept and knowledge• Utilize 5S, Kaizen, JIT Delivery, Labor Balancing, Capacity studies, Time & Motion studies, Six Sigma methodologies, AutoCAD, MS Excel, project management, facility and process design, lean manufacturing concepts and material flow engineering• Assist the Plant Manager and Engineering Manager to make informed decisions relating to the purchase of equipment, including forklifts, tooling, lift assists, generators, compressed air systems, racking, sweepers/scrubbers, compactors, and miscellaneous items pertaining to specific projects• Facilitate and Support the application of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques for the successful delivery of continuous improvement projects across the region.• Ensure the delivery of project benefits through the correct cost tracking mechanisms and continually review by following the BPI governance process• Deliver assigned projects within the BPI, Six Sigma program & associated objectives for relevant sites & operations.• Develop and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, customers, business partners and stakeholders.• Other duties as assigned

Your Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience, proven record of design and deployment of a lean management program at an organizational level
• Experience utilizing process improvement and root-cause analysis tools.
• Proven record of implementing cost savings projects and directly contributing to financial performance
• Experience in Project Management and utilizing Lean tools in the successful delivery of cross-functional projects
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified preferred
• Fluent in multiple languages including English and Spanish
• Ability to travel 50 - 75% of the working week with a high level of flexibility

Preferred:

• MOST/MTM certification is a plus
• Training skills - train the trainer
• Lean Six Sigma certified
