Job Summary: At Maven Genetics, the Brand Liaison will enhance the Company’s brand presence by nurturing relationships, supporting sales growth, and educating retail partners and customers in Northern California: San Jose, Oakland, San Fran, Santa Cruz and Central Inland territories. While the primary focus of this role is Brand Liaison, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to cross-train in other positions within the department based on organizational needs. Duties and Responsibilities: ● Maintain a prioritized account list; coordinate with the internal sales team to understand account growth potential and focus on key accounts weekly. ● Document daily account interactions, requests, and notes, ensuring efficient communication with the internal sales team. ● Assist in program design development and implementation of comprehensive educational programs, materials associated that are tailored to third party retailers and their staff that focuses on product knowledge, brand values, and customer engagement strategies. ● Collaborating with upper management to ensure educational content is up-to-date, while aligning with current brand strategies, priorities and market needs. ● Conduct regular training sessions per week as assigned, ensuring participants have a deep understanding and up-to-date knowledge of all Maven products and initiatives. ● Working with accounts to coordinate dates and times for demos, educational sessions as part of third-party brand ambassador(s) and training coordination. ● Booking third-party brand ambassador(s) and training in the designated online platform with all necessary and correct details. ● Manage and allocate monthly demo budget and analyze sales data to justify the scheduling of demos. ● Collaborating and reporting to upper management to gain approval on desired monthly demos, ensuring all expenses remain within established parameters. ● Perform metrics and reporting with an established minimum visits to retail accounts per week, conducting detailed reporting via CRM, internal sheets or approved communications. ● Manage retail merchandising and brand presence with assessments and reports during visits, identifying opportunities to enhance brand presence through educational and/or marketing initiatives. ● Can lead and support with brand-related events (industry events, B2B, B2C events etc.). ● Maintain regular educator synchronization with identified third-party educators while documenting all interactions, feedback and outcomes. ● Be updated with our complete product catalog and current cannabis industry trends. ● Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. ● Performs work under supervision, can work independently as needed and required. ● Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives as assigned by Supervisor. ● Diligent, punctual and ready to work! Qualifications: ● 0-2 years of experience working in the cannabis industry or related industry; preferred. ● Drive for continuous improvement in outreach and brand knowledge among partners and internal teams. ● Ability to foster a culture of continuous learning and development within a community and with retail partnerships. ● High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification. ● Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. ● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Requirements: ● Must be 21 years of age. ● Available and willingness to work flexible onsite hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts to meet business needs/production demands. ● Industry awareness: staying up-to-date on cannabis industry trends and the Company’s complete product catalog to provide best consumer and customer experience. ● Feedback integration: utilizing insights from market trends and partnership feedback to suggest enhancements to product offerings and educational strategies. ● Ability to stand for extended periods, sit for extended periods and continuous mobility and repetitive movements to stoop, kneel, and/or crouch on a daily basis. ● Occasionally lift and carry packaging supplies or equipment (typically up to 30 pounds). ● Sedentary Work: Ability to hear and respond to phone calls, meetings, and communications.
