Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Brand Sales Specialist you’ll work closely with clients to develop relationships understand their needs earn their trust and show them how IBM’s industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Client Portfolio Management : Manage a client portfolio highlighting IBM’s technical and business value.
  • Solution-Selling Skills : Utilize solution-selling skills to identify decision makers qualify opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Process Oversight : Oversee the entire sales process from RFI/RFP responses to meeting KPIs with a focus on new business and account expansion.
  • Collaboration with IBM Sales Network : Collaborate with IBM’s sales network to execute effective sales campaigns and drive pipeline growth.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Tech Sales Success : Demonstrate a proven track record of success in technology sales with a focus on acquiring new clients.
  • Business Acumen : Exhibit a strong understanding of business operations and financial benefits related to technology solutions enabling clear explanations.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills : Possess strong persuasive communication and presentation skills.
  • Travel: Flexibility to travel On Field for client and customer interactions and to work on IBM Site as well.
  • Translation of Business Goals into Technical Solutions : Collaborating to translate business objectives into technical solutions and advising teams on optimal technology strategies to achieve business outcomes.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal and Communication Skills : Along with a proven track record of influencing consensus among diverse groups of senior stakeholders within enterprises.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 5 years of experience with the IBM and/or competing solutions
  • Sales consulting and/or implementation experience is a plus
  • Solid experience with Sales Tech Sales and Accounts Management.
  • In-Depth Knowledge of the Power Market : Comprehensive understanding of the Power market enabling to consult advise and swiftly establish reputation as a credible trusted advisor for the client (training on IBM’s Power offerings will be provided).
  • Value Demonstration : Showcase a track record of experience illustrating how technology solutions deliver tangible operational and financial value at all organizational levels (training on IBM’s Cloud offerings will be provided).
