The âIBM Ecosystemâ includes thousands of partners who âBuildâ on âSellâ or âServiceâ IBM technologies and platforms. As a Brand Partner Specialist (Partner) your mission is to engage the right technical co-marketing and go-to-market enablement resources which support your assigned partners to drive prospecting opportunity identification and solution co-creation for their clients.
Youâll grow revenue in your assigned Brand portfolio by increasing partner âSellâ activities and overall go-to-market sales execution across all IBM territories covered by your partners. Assigned to âSellâ partners by brand youâll influence their sales technical and practice leads to increase adoption and co-create on their clientsâ solutions with IBM brand offerings over competitive alternatives.

Your Role and Responsibilities
A natural at inspiring and motivating others youâll support multi-skilled teams of exceptional sales and technical talent to identify qualify and develop âtrusted-advisorâ relationships with their clients. The results of which will persuade them to invest in our contemporary cloud data AI and automation offerings.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Tech Sales and Technical Expertise: Blend tech sales expertise with technical knowledge for trusted client engagements.
- Revenue Planning: Create plans for new and recurring revenue.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain customer relationships with success measures such as NPS C-SAT and ARR.
- Rich experience with in-depth selling skills on Storage solution and Software Defined Storage and Data management solution
- Work independently and strength in leveraging difference resources to achieve goal and objective
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Tech Sales Expertise: Deep expertise in tech sales covering cloud data AI security storage and automation.
- Client-Centric Technical Acumen: Strong technical acumen for aligning client needs with value-driven solutions.
- Quota Overachievement: Consistently over-achieving sales quotas in complex tech environments.
- Communication & Networking Excellence: Excellent people communication and C-suite networking skills.
- Agile Sales Proficiency: Proficiency in agile and modern sales methodologies for nimble success.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Comprehensive Knowledge of IBMâs Product Suite : Possess a strong understanding of IBMâs product suite (full training on IBMâs technologies will be provided).
- Understanding IBMâs Competitive Distinctions : Grasp IBMâs competitive differentiations as well as the position of competitors in the market.
- Team Work and Collaboration : Work and execute to achieve objective together with cross team collaboration. Team work with different business units to achieve target
- Proactive Engagement : Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve mission. Be able to draw and leverage different source of resources to achieve mission
