Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Brand Sales Specialist for Public Market (SLED) you will collaborate closely with clients and IBM Business Partners to develop relationships understand needs earn trust and show potential clients how IBM’s industry leading solutions will solve their problems while delivering value to their business. You will run a territory consisting of public entities such as cities towns state government and universities.

A typical day for a SLED seller would be as follows:

  • Collaborative Ecosystem Engagement: Collaborating with the broader IBM sales ecosystem to develop campaigns and boost pipeline growth.
  • Client Management & Value Communication: Managing clients and effectively communicating IBM’s value.
  • Decision Maker Engagement: Identifying decision makers qualifying opportunities and establishing partnerships.
  • Sales Process Leadership: Overseeing the complete sales process with a focus on new business.
  • Attending and coordinating events that maybe exclusive to entities within Public Market


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • experience with IT hardware and/or software solutions.
  • Experience with IBM Dell EMC Hitachi HP PURE or any other vendors solution sales.
  • Experience with account management and working with business partners


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Enterprise sales experience with focus on working with large clients
