Your Role and Responsibilities
The IA technical Specialist role covers a very important software portfolio around information architecture. In this role you will need to how to show customers how to utilize data observability and governance so that they can effectively leverage their ever-changing data to meet their unique business needs.
The responsibilities include:
• Show the client how IBM Technology can help them solve their challenges and meet their business goals.
• Build excitement and relationships within the territory by showing off our technology.
• Experience aligning business goals with tech solutions.
• Work and collaborate with Business Partners to deliver solutions and results.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience working with Information Architecture.
• Experience on Hybrid Data Management.
• Extensive experience conducting demo presentations.
• Client facing experience.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Solution Design and “Hands-on” experience with IBM Hybrid Data Management software or equivalent including watsonx.data watsonx.gov Db2 Netezza Performance Server Data OEM partnerships (DataStax MongoDB EDB and Cloudera) and/or Cloud Pak for Data.
• Practical experience in customer facing technical role enterprise tech sales consulting services or equivalent.
• Skilled in consultative selling with an understanding of the client’s needs and IBM capabilities.
• Ability to effectively showcase and demonstrate solutions/technologies in a customer facing scenario.
• Knowledgeable about modern platform technologies including RedHat OpenShift Kubernetes Microservices and Container based architectures as well as other cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure Google Cloud Platform/Anthos Amazon/AWS IBM Public Cloud.
