Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst in XLD, you should be a collaborative and highly organized individual with customer focus to provide support to different projects. The role involves a capability to analyze the business to identify problems and opportunities and to be able to define solution characteristics. The next Business Analyst must possess outstanding conceptual, analytical, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with highly developed organization and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Documentation of Product requirements
• Slicing of User stories into small, incremental deliverables with complete Acceptance criteria
• Lead in estimation, prioritization, planning and coordination of development activities, commitments, and timelines
• Creation of System and User flow diagrams (eg. Flowcharts, Use case diagrams)
• Works closely with QA team to ensure that all test scenarios are catered
• Involvement in User acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the definition of doneness of each deliverable

Requirements

• A good listener, with extreme note-taking capabilities
• Proficiency in problem solving
• Must have a keen attention to detail
• Must be able to handle and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must have the leadership attitude and mindset

• Demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum

• Must be able to sort through information from multiple sources to funnel correct and concise information to Engineering team
• Must be able to translate and simplify requirements by documenting User stories and Acceptance criteria
• Must be able to lead collaboration exercises using different techniques such as User story elicitation, Flowchart / Diagrams to depict process and user flows, and Wireframes
• Planning and monitoring individual requirements satisfaction
• Understanding of the principles of Web and Mobile application development
• A background in Finance industry is a major advantage
