Business Development Sr Manager

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Business Development Senior Manager for immediate employment in the Morrisville, Pennsylvania office.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Management of all aspects of a large program; Business Development activities concentrating on toll-funded agencies; familiarity with alternative delivery and funding programs; familiarity with the operation and maintenance of long-span structures; engagement in industry organizations.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Plans, organizes and implements all business development activities for an assigned market(s), or geographic territory
• May supervise and oversee business development staff and managers
• Participates in decision-making
• Works independently to pursue development of new business prospects.
• Assists in the development of proposals and gives presentations to potential client

Minimum Requirements

• BBS Civil Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
• Professional Engineer licensure in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on larger complex programs
• Experience with the management of all aspects of a large program and business development activities
• Previous experience with bi-state agencies such as DRJTBC, DRPA, DRBA, PANYNJ preferred
• Has broad knowledge of the business to support cross-discipline, business line, and region collaboration
• Generally, has business development and/or technical experience, with hands-on cost proposal development
