MISSION
(Why the position exists)
1. Is responsible for the country growth revenue & profitability of Vietnam distribution channel.
2. Lead entire country distribution business to achieve and exceed the countries sales and profitability targets
within the strategic and financial boundaries defined by the corporation
3. Lead, manage and develop resources to achieve and exceeds growth and profitability objectives that roll up to broad
company goals in customer satisfaction, business growth, profitability growth, and employee of choice
4. Develop and maintain key client contacts at the CXO level and champion the thought leadership and strategic
positioning of the company in the country.

1/ Drive Sales & Profitability
  • Drive sales growth and profitability of full Schneider Electric's portfolio in Distribution Channels.
  • Ensure the integrity and efficiency of the distribution Business Models
  • Manage Support Function Cost- both direct and indirect (allocated costs) - towards high efficiency

2/ Strategy development and deployment
  • Assume d irect responsibility for the formulation of distribution business strategy and its execution within Vietnam country
  • Development of effective sales methodologies and processes and deploy
  • Market selection, programs, tactics, pricing
  • Development and execution of the strategic process to secure pipeline opportunities

3/ People management and development
  • Lead and manage the people, growing talent to ensure we have the appropriate competencies and expertise to meet current and future business goals and priorities
  • Develop and implement a high-performance sales culture practices in the team
  • Identify and develop talents in the sales and operations team
  • Upgrade the Team's competencies, sales expertise, and sales behavioral level.
  • Recruit the right sales and sales support talents to continue driving growth in sales and profitability
  • Provide frequent coaching, feedbacks, and management support to internal Retail talents

4/ Customer Relationship Management:
  • Ensure customer intimacy and build added-value relationships with relevant customers (e.g. end-users, distributors, electricians ..)

5/ Team player & Team spirit
  • Maintain a positive working climate. Develop good relations with the Retail team and Cross-function teams to resolve issues, follow up action plans and keep abreast of information and the latest update


Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

Education: University degrees in Business Management. Electrical Engineer background a plus

Job-Related Experience:
  • At least 10+ years of sales and/or business development experience, preferably in electrical sales or channel sales
  • Strong tracked record about sales performance and channel network development
  • Relevant market and business trends, business environment analysis, and identification of business opportunity

Business Understanding:
  • Commercial / Sales profile with excellent understanding of markets, customers, and channels
Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills) :

  • Good command of spoken and written English. Computer literate and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates strong personal leadership in line with our values
  • People and talent management experience
  • Strong Negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence and convince
  • Effective at building networks, internally and externally
