Senior Python Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Senior Python Engineer with advanced technical skills to join our team at EPAM Vietnam.
In this position, you'll coordinate a rapidly growing engineering team to build complex systems from scratch. If you have solid Python knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong mindset, you are our ideal fit.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update modules for the company's custom CMS, ensuring robust back-end functionality for the company's websites
• Write well-structured, testable, and efficient code adhering to best software development practices, accompanied by detailed module documentation
• Enhance system performance by optimizing existing solutions and integrating data seamlessly from various APIs and databases
• Review and maintain code quality standards for Junior Back-End Web Developers, providing guidance and support where needed
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating innovative approaches into daily operations
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the line manager, contributing to overall team success

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in developing and designing modern applications in Python
• Proficient with these frameworks: Django ORM, FastAPI/Flask, Redis, MongoDB
• Strong understanding of end-to-end app deployment processes, including deployment pipelines, containerization, and orchestration (e.g., Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript and familiar with frameworks/libraries such as jQuery
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing
• Fluency in both written and spoken English (B2)
