What you'll do:

This position is responsible in the sourcing management primarily for packaging accessories commodities for PQ PH Plant. Supporting initiatives to achieve growth, localization, cost out plan, quality improvement, delivery goals and other supply chain initiatives for the APAC Region. This position is also the key person to lead special projects in the organization

• Responsible in localization and sourcing primarily packaging accessories parts for Eaton PQ PH through RFQ, negotiation, benchmarking, qualification both the supplier
• Work with PQ Packaging Category Manager to develop sheet packaging accessories parts sourcing strategies to effectively leverage ES spend in APAC and Global to identify synergies and supplier roadmap strategies to deliver cost benefits

• Lead critical, strategic cost out projects (including using SHOULD COST analysis) to ensure key cost reduction targets are met and process is maximized to deliver expected results
• Lead supply base development, prequalification and management to ensure cost-effective supply with consistent quality and acceptable service & delivery levels for PHP plant
• Ensure commodity strategies are aligned with latest internal and external environmental, market and economic factors. Build and maintain organizational consensus and alignment to the PQD commodity strategies
• Conduct Supplier Business Reviews with strategic suppliers on a regular basis annually
• Work with Packaging Category Manager to negotiate and manage key strategic supplier contracts, Long Term Agreements, cost negotiations and relationships.
• Applies skillful negotiations with suppliers; conducts problem resolution and settles disputes; develops win/win solutions and creates positive relations with tact and expert judgment
• Develop strong positive ethical relationships with suppliers & adhere to Eaton's Code of Conduct

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Must have 3-5 years of related experience
• Knowledgeable in metals commodity; expertise in the areas of market trend, raw material and manufacturing.
• Must have experience in packaging accessories manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing industry is required.
• Knowledgeable in manufacturing set-up, processes and discipline.
• R & D / product development knowledge is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP system is a plus.

• Must be a team player and a relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills.
• Must have strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experienced in working in a global, multi-national and off-shore organization and suppliers.
