Carpenter

Position Overview: The carpenter is responsible for fabricating, laminating, and finishing large scale projects. Responsibilities: • Fabricate large-scale exhibit environments, executive briefing centers, showrooms, corporate lobbies, and store fixtures • Manage workload on multiple projects seamlessly. • Utilize creative problem solving to find the best approach to the fabrication of each project. • Maintain accountability for manufacturing the final exhibit outcome. • Successfully complete projects within the allotted hours assigned to the job. • Interact with the design-detailing department • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • 5+ years manufacturing experience in the wood working or cabinet making industry • Knowledge of high-end wood fabrications as related to furniture, cabinetry, and fixtures fabrication. • Strong knowledge of woodworking materials • Possess strong organizational and communication skills • Consistent attention to detail, and a dedication to excellence • Ability to work in a cold/warm warehouse environment around moving equipment • Ability to stand on feet for 6-8 hours per day • Ability to reach about and below shoulder, push and/or pull, kneel, squat, bend/twist, and climb ladders Preferred Skills: • Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player • Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills Company Overview: Sparks is a live + digital brand experience agency.
