Core Responsibilities • Dispensing and Compounding:Accurately preparing, labeling, and dispensing prescription medications, as well as compounding medications when necessary. • Patient Counseling:Educating patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions to ensure safe and effective therapy. • Medication Therapy Management:Monitoring patient responses to medications, managing chronic diseases, and ensuring adherence to treatment plans. • Health Promotion and Public Health:Providing advice on diet, exercise, and other healthy lifestyle choices, and offering services like administering vaccines.
