Description

As a Container Platform Chapter Leader within Cloud and Platform Engineering (CAPE), you will work as an engineering leader within Cloud Engineering Chapter Area, enabling our Container Management Platform delivery squads to purse outstanding levels of engineering maturity while building our Cloud platforms at scale. You will lead a Chapter of highly skilled engineers who are working with the latest container technologies utilizing leading edge engineering practices to deliver Kubernetes at scale.

We are passionate about opensource contribution, sharing our expertise and knowledge across the engineering community while embracing a continuous learning approach support by a dedicated learning day each week.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes platforms (Rancher, EKS, AKS etc.)
• Hands-on experience working with extending Kubernetes, example Custom resources.
• Working knowledge of the developer lifecycle and emerging trends related to cloud.
• An advocate for engineering best practices and principles.
• Ability to drive decisions collaboratively and collaborate across an organization to drive change.
• Ability to advance diversity and inclusion through promotion of inclusive hiring practices, mentoring and coaching.
• Experience leading engineering teams and developing skills we need today and in skills we need for the future.

$130,000 - $218,000 per year

This position is eligible for incentive compensation or an annual bonus opportunity.
