This is an exciting opportunity to work with the freshest ingredients available on our seasonal menus. As our Chef de Cuisine, you will be the driving force behind the kitchen, responsible for both culinary innovation and operational excellence. • Quality Control & Execution:Oversee all food preparation to ensure consistently high-quality dishes, impeccable plate presentation, and timely service. • Team Leadership & Mentorship:Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen staff, delegating tasks and fostering a positive, professional, and efficient kitchen environment. • Operational Management:Manage inventory, place orders, monitor food costs, and ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. • Recipe & Technique Mastery:Continuously experiment with recipes, techniques (including baking and pastry), and flavor profiles to elevate the guest experience. We are looking for a hands-on leader with a passion for sustainable, locally sourced cuisine. • Proven Leadership:Extensive, demonstrable experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role, preferably in a farm-to-table or high-end dining environment. • Culinary Mastery:Advanced knowledge of modern and traditional cooking techniques, including baking and pastry, with a proven ability to work with a wide range of kitchen equipment. • Seasonality & Sourcing:Deep understanding of seasonality and a passion for working directly with local ingredients. • Operational Acumen:Excellent time management, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a calm, efficient, and impeccably clean kitchen. • Certifications:Up-to-date knowledge of and strict adherence to sanitation regulations; Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional training highly preferred.
