Cleaning Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, including commercial spaces. Responsibilities • Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas. • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. • Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts according to company policies. • Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols. • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify cleaning needs or maintenance issues. • Report any damages or repairs needed to the supervisor promptly. • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary. • Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Good physical stamina; must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods. • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
