Janney Client Service Associates partner with our clients and prospective clients across inbound and outbound channels to support a wide range of dynamic needs—from resolving financial inquiries and supporting account maintenance, to engaging qualified prospects and coordinating new business opportunities. This role blends high-quality service delivery with proactive outreach and business development support, making it ideal for those passionate about both client experience and growth. What you are good at: • Business Development Mindset –Skilled at sales prospecting via outbound communication, identifying prospect needs, and qualifying interest in wealth management services. • Client Service – Meeting and exceeding customer expectations by providing timely, thoughtful support and resolving inquiries. • Initiative – Proactively spotting opportunities to enhance processes and contribute to team goals. • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partnering effectively with advisors, internal stakeholders, and team members to support client and prospect journeys. • Analytical Ability – Evaluating information from various sources to help identify and resolve issues or qualify leads. Responsibilities: • Conduct outreach to prospective clients from lead sources to identify needs, qualify interest, promote Janney solutions, and schedule meetings with advisors • Monitor lead engagement trends and recommend process improvements to enhance conversion • Recommend advisory solutions to clients, based on risk tolerance • Handle inbound client requests, including balance inquiries, fund transfers, account maintenance, and trade instructions • Collaborate with home office and branch staff to resolve client and prospect-related issues efficiently • Maintain documentation and controls to ensure compliance with all regulatory and firm policies • Complete ad hoc reporting and projects as required Requirements and Qualifications: • Two-four years of experience in financial services, preferably at a broker-dealer • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Strong MS Office skills; experience with Thomson preferred • FINRA Series 7 (required); 63 and 65 (or 66) highly preferred or ability to become registered within 60 days • Knowledge of advisory solutions preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including phone-based relationship building • Strong customer service orientation with a growth and results mindset • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with evolving priorities • Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and enthusiastic about engaging with clients and prospects Why work for us?
