Cloud & Platform Security Competency Leader

Introduction
As the Italy Cloud & Platform Security Competency Leader you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering world-class security consulting services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of experienced consultants engaging with clients to understand their unique security challenges and providing strategic guidance to ensure the highest level of data and application security.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the data and application security consulting practice. Collaborate with senior management to align consulting services with the overall business strategy.
Team Management: Lead mentor and inspire a team of security consultants. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment encouraging continuous professional development.
Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and security requirements. Act as a trusted advisor providing expert guidance on data and application security solutions.
Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of high-quality consulting services ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations. Drive innovation in methodologies and approaches to enhance service offerings.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales marketing and technical teams to drive business development and ensure the successful delivery of consulting services.
Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends emerging threats and best practices in data and application security. Contribute to thought leadership through publications speaking engagements and industry participation..

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Over 2 years of experience in working with hyperscalers (Microsoft/AWS) and managing relationships directly with them.
Over 10 years of experience in sales and/or delivery functions including Security Services.
Over 5 years of experience in relationship management with key stakeholders (CxOs).
Leadership: demonstrating IBM’s values and practices using a mix of leadership styles that create a positive climate within the team.
Business analysis: understanding complex/new situations anticipating problems and identifying future needs then taking the initiative to implement new solutions and improvements. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve aggressive business objectives.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Consulting/Architecture acumen: Thought leadership in hyperscaler security – across advisory design & build and managed services with ability to lead/oversee solutioning and delivery of IBM Security’s cloud consulting engagements. Security Certifications in one or more hyperscaler platforms is desired.
Eminence: networking and being known across IBM and industry/clients as a trusted advisor to influence and guide them to engage IBM Security to transform their security representing the competency at industry events by taking speaker opportunities.
