We are looking for a highly experienced Cloud System Administrator with 10–15 years of IT infrastructure experience specializing in cloud networking and security . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing operations and support in Azure and GCP environments ensuring secure stable and efficient cloud infrastructure. Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift is a significant plus. This is a mission-critical 24/7 operations role requiring deep technical expertise and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support cloud infrastructure focusing on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Design and manage secure cloud networking architectures including VPCs VNets subnets routing firewalls and VPNs.
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls including IAM policies encryption and access management.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and security issues in real-time.
- Operate and support Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters including configuration scaling and updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure deployment and operations of applications.
- Support database security practices including encryption role-based access control and audit logging.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for security and availability issues.
- Work as part of a rotational 24x7 support team and ensure high availability of services.
Required Qualifications:
- 10–15 years of hands-on experience in system/cloud administration with a strong focus on networking and security .
- Proven experience managing cloud environments in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS firewalls load balancers VPNs etc.).
- Expertise in cloud security best practices IAM data protection and threat detection.
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift in production environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform Ansible or ARM templates .
- Understanding of database security principles and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in cloud-native environments
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certifications in Azure or GCP (e.g. Azure Security Engineer Associate Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer ).
- Certifications such as CKA CKS RHCSA or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift .
- Knowledge of SIEM log aggregation and cloud-native security tools (e.g. Microsoft Defender Chronicle).
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001 SOC2 GDPR ).
