We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Systems Engineer at LightEdge, you will be an integral part of the Cloud Operations team, managing the lifecycle, maintenance, and operations of the cloud systems and cloud component architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain lifecycle processes mitigate and ensure platforms remain current
  • Maintain and support capacity management processes, metrics, and reporting to ensure adequate resource availability for continued expansion of the Cloud Services platforms
  • Deliver LightEdge services to clients in accordance with the Service Level Agreements
  • Install new platforms, and decommission end of life platforms, as determined by the needs of the business
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Compute and Backup & Storage solutions
  • Participate in 24x7 after-hours escalation on-call rotation
  • Serve as an escalation point for client support issues, providing issue resolution via telephone, email, ticketing system, and other electronic communication methods
  • Document and communicate service disruptions to the client and LightEdge management team
  • Facilitate and execute on internal projects in coordination with the Architecture team
  • Serve as a mentor to members of other teams for continuous talent development
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience working with in the Information Technology industry
