We also offer 6 Paid Holidays (8 hours for full time and 6 hours for part time per event, excludes on-call staff) and 1 Personal Holiday of Choice per year (excludes on-call staff). β€’ Retirement planning is encouraged through our 403(b) plan that includes a generous 100% company match on the first 4% of earnings an employee contributes. There is a 5-year vesting schedule on the company match, and minors are ineligible for the company match. β€’ A food and beverage discount of 50% is available to all employees at any Wesley bistro. The Senior Admissions Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the admissions review process for multiple Rehabilitation Care Centers (skilled nursing facility),ensuring that prospective residents and their families experience a smooth, compassionate, and professional transition into care. This role is responsible for achieving Care Center census and payor mix targets through various strategies including inside and outside sales activities focused on hospitals, clinics, community partners, and other channels of care. You will provide continuing care through these responsibilities Essential functions of this position include the following. β€’ Direct and oversee the admissions process from inquiry through admission, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. β€’ Train and mentor team members supporting the admissions process to provide excellent customer service, ensure efficient case management and comply with policies and regulations (i.e. Medical Records Specialist). β€’ Partner with the Nursing Home Administrator, Nursing, Social Services, and Therapy to assess clinical appropriateness of admissions and coordinate smooth transitions. β€’ Periodically visit assigned Rehabilitation Care Centers to ensure successful admissions processes and build relationships with key stakeholders. β€’ Develop and maintain positive relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, and community organizations to generate referrals. β€’ Prepare and analyze admissions and census reports; develop strategies to achieve census and payor mix goals; assist with implementation of marketing plans. β€’ Provide tours, respond to inquiries, and conduct follow-up with prospective residents and families. β€’ Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements related to resident admission, transfer, and discharge. β€’ Assist with development and implementation of marketing initiatives in alignment with location goals. β€’ Manage difficult or sensitive situations with residents, families, and referral sources with professionalism and empathy.Our requirements and qualifications for success β€’ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, health care administration, or equivalent work experience. β€’ Minimum 3-5 years of admissions experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or healthcare setting β€’ In-depth knowledge of Washington State nursing facility regulations and CMS requirements for admissions. β€’ Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. β€’ Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders. β€’ Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite. β€’ Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with residents, family members and team members.:Salary Range: $33.90 to $48.86 per hour: REQ Code: #AZL0930:
