CNC Lathe Machinist – Join a Top-Tier Team! APPLICANTS REQUIRED TO SET UP AND OPERATE ALL MACHINES

We pay top dollar for experienced machinists! Currently hiring for shifts: • 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am to 4:30pm • 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30 pm to 3:00am • 3rd Shift: Friday-Sunday 6:00am to 6:30 pm POSITION SUMMARY: Receives work order and blueprints to determine part specifications. Sets up and operates all machines in the CNC lathe department. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operate lathes to produce production parts and prototype parts with minimal supervision. • Review work orders to obtain part specifications. • Responsible for setting up tooling and fixtures independently. • Perform periodic inspections to ensure parts are within required tolerances. • Knowledgeable and able to operate either Haas or Fanuc controls. • Able to edit programs under supervision to correct dimensional issues that may arise during initial set-up. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma or GED; • Minimum 5 years of experience in the machining industry CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Requires reading, writing and basic to intermediate math skills. • Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics. • Able to work under tight production deadlines. • Ability to read and effectively use basic tools such as calipers and micrometers. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
