CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift & Graveyard Shift

Experienced Machinists Needed A&G Machine is a world-class machining, fabrication, and assembly supplier of precision machined parts and assemblies for the aerospace and defense industries. We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to operate a diverse range of 5-axis machining with capabilities, including large nutating heads and gantry-style machining, as well as complex assemblies and kitting. JOB DESCRIPTION • Read blue prints, engineering drawings, specifications, and interpretGD&T. • Use micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gage. • Able to use basic math, geometry and trigonometry. • Set up machines by installing pallets, vises, tombstones, and fixtures. • Maintains specifications by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. • Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift. • Edit G code and M code programs. • Operate 3, 4, & 5 axis vertical and horizontal CNC Mills. • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. • Maintain equipment using preventative maintenance. • Maintain an organized and clean work environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Required to lift up to 50 lbs. • Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work around moving objects, and with machinery with moving parts. • Use forklift for chip barrel moving/dumping Work Environment · Work performed in a combination of shop and office environments. · Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.its SKILLS AND EDUCATION: • 4+ years Machining • High School Diploma or equivalent • US Citizen • Able to work well with others.
