CNC Operator

Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC machines (mill, lathe, router, etc.) in accordance with production drawings and specifications • Read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and detailed shop drawings • Use AutoCAD to review, interpret, and occasionally adjust design files for CNC programming • Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality • Make necessary adjustments to tools and machine settings during production • Perform quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) • Maintain accurate documentation of production runs and completed jobs • Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment • Communicate any production or design issues with the engineering and drafting teams Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or training preferred • 1–2 years of CNC operating experience required • Proficient in AutoCAD • Ability to read and understand architectural plans, technical drawings, and shop drawings • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude • Familiarity with G-code and CNC programming (preferred) • Good organizational and communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Ability to stand for long periods and operate machinery • Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and dust Benefits: • Competitive hourly wage (commensurate with experience) • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off and holidays • 401(k) with company match • Opportunities for advancement and professional development Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: In person
