CNC / Swiss Machine Operator (2nd / 3rd shift) CNC experience required Shift Hours (includes 20 min paid lunch; Monday-Friday workweek) 2nd shift:2:00 pm - 10:00 pm 3rd shift:10:00 pm - 6:00 am "We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role, inclusive of shift differential, is $20.00-$25.00/hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.” Benefits: • New employees are eligible for the following benefits effective date of hire! • Perfect Attendance Bonus valued at $800 annually (prorated based on start date) • Medical, dental, and vision benefits • Company-paid life insurance and disability benefits • 17 days of paid time off (pro-rated) and 10 paid HolidaysPosition Responsibilities: • Swiss Machinists are responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining CNC or Swiss equipment to fabricate Swiss production parts that meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates. • Additional responsibilities include making adjustments and monitoring assigned equipment to ensure dimensional part integrity, troubleshooting and correcting problems, deburr/buff/sand parts to meet print specifications, inspect parts visually and dimensionally using basic inspection equipment and techniques, and perform preventative machine maintenance as required.Job Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • 2+ years machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including two years of CNC or Swiss experience REQUIRED • Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and experience working with small precision parts to close tolerances required. • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as basic knowledge of lean manufacturing.#INDHP Viant is a global medical device design and manufacturing services provider that partners and innovates with customers to provide the highest quality, life enhancing medical devices.
