Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Caulker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks, particularly in caulking applications, and will be responsible for ensuring that all sealing and waterproofing tasks are completed to the highest standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on commercial projects. Responsibilities • Apply caulk and sealants to various surfaces including windows, doors, and joints to ensure water-tight seals. • Prepare surfaces for caulking by cleaning and priming as necessary. • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project specifications are met. • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards. • Assist in the installation of glass and other materials as needed. • Operate heavy equipment safely when required for project tasks. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Skills • Minimum of 1 year of experience in caulking. • Proficiency in caulking techniques and application methods. • Familiarity with a wide range of sealants and fillers. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity. • Ability to operate heavy equipment effectively and safely. • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a physically demanding environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. • Maintain OSHA -10 (minimum) certification. • Possible out-of-town work. • Monday- Friday 8hr work days.
