Be mentored and grow as leader from the very start of your career journey with us.PART TIME Concierge Security Guard (37.5 Hours Bi-Weekly) fixed schedule: every thursday, every other friday & every other Weekend Description:Deer Meadows Retirement Community, a staple of North East Philadelphia for over 150 years is hiring! The Security Guard has many responsibilities including but not limited to monitoring the safety and well-being of all residents, employees, visitors, and vendors.The duties require the use of sound judgment in acting in emergency situations. Requirements:Possession of an appropriate class, valid driver license. High School Diploma or GED. Employee must be physically and mentally able to perform all essential job functions. Must pass rigid physical. Have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to push, pull, bend, stretch, lift, drag, and respond quickly to emergency calls on premises. Must have excellent communication abilities in dealing with residents and public. Experience:Experience in law enforcement, firefighting, or private security preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and training, including but not limited to military, professional and/or educational may be considered.
