Connected Services Remote Support Specialist

This role has been designated as Remote within a Geography. This is a regional position, applicants in Michigan, Indian, and Ohio can apply.

Job Summary

In the Connected Services Remote Support Specialist role you will be responsible for inspecting, analyzing, troubleshooting, and programming customer Building Automation Systems (BAS) using Trane's cloud based remote connection and communicating findings and suggestions to the Customer. You will also work closely with the Connected Services team to identify and implement Energy Conservation Methods (ECM's) and optimization opportunities for customer sites.

This role works closely with Field Technicians to support any controls related issues they may have while on the jobsite as well as other internal teams with technical questions.

Responsibilities:

• Remote inspection, troubleshooting and programming of Customer Building Automation Systems.
• Communicating with Customers on the state of their systems and creation of reports on them.
• Customer support for Emergency calls and triage of controls calls that we receive.
• Field Technician controls support.
• Energy Conservation Method (ECM) and Optimization identification and implementation to Customer BAS.

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, Technical School or formal training is preferred.
• 3-5 years of Controls experience in an HVAC field required.
• 3-5 years of troubleshooting and programming experience preferred.
• Previous experience with DDC controls systems required.
• Network and IT knowledge preferred.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).

Base Compensation Range is $50,500-$121,000. Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
