Job Description
Airoom, Chicagoland’s premier design/build firm, is seeking a highly experienced and operationally driven Senior Production Manager with strong project management background (PMP Preferred) to oversee the seamless execution of 5-7 superintendents and 25-40 concurrent high-end residential construction project sites. This role demands a structured, process-oriented manager who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient project workflows, superintendent accountability, staffing requirements, and on-time, high-quality project delivery.
Job Requirements
• Proven track record of managing multiple field superintendents across a higher volume of job sites, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks are consistently met.
• Daily oversight of project scheduling, construction milestones, weekly homeowners’ satisfaction rates, client expectations, subcontractors contact, as well as superintendent performance utilizing PM software (Buildertrend or equivalent).
• Proven ability to manage multiple superintendents and job sites simultaneously from design inception to issuance of final inspections.
• Proven ability to intelligently manage within a larger office staff environment including purchasing and estimating staff, architects and designers, and administrators.
• Experience in hiring and managing superintendents and sub contractors and maintaining proper staffing requirements for the project backlog.
• Ability to tactfully interact with clients reviewing their construction plans, design and construction issues and solving problems regularly to support the construction superintendent team as required.
• Ability to communicate and manage multiple sub-contractors, vendors, and clients at one time with leadership and resolve.
Qualifications
• PMP certification or equal preferred with 15+ years of industry experience including some residential construction and 10 years of experience in production hiring, training and management of field staff using systems and project management software to track higher amounts of concurrent projects.
• Proficient with all phases of construction for high end big ticket residential remodeling and luxury custom homes.
• Field experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or 2-year associate’s degree preferred.

Hours and Location
• Full time position
• Office 80%
• Field 20% visiting project sites.
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive base salary with an attractive bonus inventive program. Current team members earn $130K - $180K+ bonuses and benefits annually.
