Spruce Builders LLC was formed in 2020 to manage ground up construction and historical renovations for a select group of Real Estate investors. Our projects are entirely in the Philadelphia area to serve the local community. We have a small team of powerful leaders organizing all facets of operations to make our projects come to life. We are extremely selective in our hiring process- knowing the impact on the group experience (if you make the wrong choice!). Key Responsibilities
As a Construction Project Manager in HIP, you will:
• Lead and mentor site superintendents, developing their ability to deliver repairs that transform lives.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop cost-effective project plans and schedules tailored to program needs.
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental quality standards that protect both crews and homeowners.
• Coordinate, assign, and oversee subcontractors working on a variety of repair and improvement projects.
• Assist in expanding the subcontractor base for home improvement program
• Review architectural and engineering drawings, making sure all work complies with regulations while balancing budget constraints.
• Manage permits, inspections, and contracts specific to repair and rehabilitation projects.
• Track schedules, budgets, and project outcomes, ensuring HIP projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Generate project updates for internal teams, community partners, and homeowners, highlighting impact as well as progress.
• Identify scope changes and adjust proactively while safeguarding the mission and resources.
• Support closeout and turnover of projects with clear communication to homeowners, ensuring they fully understand and are satisfied with the work performed.

• OSHA 30 certified.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and visit job sites, including elevated structures.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
