Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively manage teams and resources. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities • Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate project execution. • Develop project plans and schedules, utilizing construction management software such as ProCore and Civil 3D. • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring all terms are met. • Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration among project stakeholders. • Implement effective time management strategies to optimize workflow and resource allocation. • Prepare progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any potential challenges. Experience • Proven experience in project management within the construction industry is essential. • Strong knowledge of construction site operations and best practices. • Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., ProCore, Civil 3D) is preferred. • Experience with contract negotiation and management. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective project coordination. • A background in civil engineering or a related field is a plus.
