Role description Company: Tredence Inc. Position Title: Consultant - Analytics Location: 1900 Camden Ave., Suite 66, San Jose, CA 95124 Position Responsibilities: Mine and analyze data from company databases, to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies. Use machine learning tools to select features, create, and optimize classifiers. Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques. Carry out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data. Process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data, to be used for analysis. Analyze large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions. Develop prediction systems and machine learning algorithms. Present results in a clear manner. Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges. Collaborate with Business and IT teams. Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy. Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes. Develop A/B testing framework and test model quality. Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field, PLUS demonstrable knowledge of: Python; R; SQL; Logistic Regression; Linear Regression; Random Forest; XGBoost, and; GCP BigQuery. Required knowledge may be gained prior to or concurrently with Master’s degree. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. approximately 30%, as required.
