Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Senior in Miami, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Drive advisory and implementation services for network transformation projects to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, and testing to deployment, as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Create technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models utilizing enterprise networking technologies, tools and processes. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams, and identify changes in scope. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Provide application analysis and implementation to meet enterprise architecture and infrastructure goals. Focus on the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects. Help clients achieve the most out of existing infrastructure and guide clients through multi-year transformations that are necessary in the wake of technology disruptions, including Cloud and Internet of Things (IoT). Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Designing and implementing large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance, and integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging Cloud-based and On-premise platforms, utilizing technologies including VMware on AWS, Azure VMware Solutions, Google Cloud VMware Engine and VMware Tanzu;
• Install, configure and manage new VMware ESXI Hypervisors, VMware vCenter to version 8.0 and upgrades to vSphere 8.0;
• Implementing new designs and solutions with the rehost approach of lift and shift to cloud platforms;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, utilizing VMware HCX and Google Migrate to Compute Engine;
• Coordinating project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks;
• Automating repetitive reports and recurring tasks within Cloud Platform, utilizing VMware Aria Automation in transforming the workloads to multi cloud architecture;
• Creating customized reports to meet requirements by building performance and cost approach utilizing VMware Aria Business insight, creating dashboards utilizing VMware Aria Operations and monitoring the network usage utilizing VMware Aria Network Insight; and
• Design, setup and configure disaster recovery tools and business continuity plans utilizing VMware Site Recovery Manager 8.0 version and implementing VMware DRAAS on all cloud platforms.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
