Consumer Products Marketing Assistant

Job description: We are a Los Angeles based beauty manufacturer/distributor. We create on trend, innovative beauty products. We are looking for a Consumer Products Marketing Assistant to work on our Hair Care team. In this position you contribute by : • Creative vision and strategic thinking • Resilient: able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving beauty environment • Passionate about beauty/fashion trends, new products • Ability to self-manage projects and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Job Responsibilities: • Assist cross-functionally Marketing Team members in an effort to support all projects related to marketing & product development. • Social Listening and Competitive Research; keeping up-to-date on the latest products, trends, and insights across platforms (social media, blog, digital magazines) • Generate ideas and write creative concepts for new products. • Work with Brand team to brainstorm product names, write and edit packaging copy that differentiates the brand and product in the market. • Assist with project management- routing projects from inception through completion. • Interact with internal departments to ensure complete deliverables of photography, graphics, sales materials, advertisements, displays and samples. • Work with Brand team with item set up processes • Administrative support - undertake admin projects specific to brand needs. Provide additional administrative support on an as-needed basis. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree a plus • A minimum of one year experience in consumer products • Beauty marketing experience preferred. • Must be forward thinking, organized and have the capacity to juggle a variety of tasks • Experience in product development is a plus • Project management skills • Computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Canva • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills • Reliable, diligent, self-motivated and dedicated This is a full-time on-site position, no hybrid.
