Continuous Improvement Engineer (DBS)

What you'll do:

• Optimize organizational performance by enhancing the alignment and efficiency of business processes and by ensuring continuous, sustained improvement across the enterprise through the implementation of Danaher Business System tools and methodologies. Includes focus areas like Innovation, Growth, and Lean.
• Provide coaching during Daily management and help team use the process to identify root causes and countermeasures to close gaps.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and assist with the application of DBS tools
• Become an expert in DBS fundamental tools and be a training and development resource.
• Use a very 'Hands on' Gemba based approach to applying and teaching DBS, to associates at all level.
• Ensures successful kaizen events by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process: (1) planning of kaizens (2) kaizen execution and (3) sustainment of kaizens.
• Support PSP's (Problem Solving Process) as needed. Support projects through analyzing data to provide business insights

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in related area.
• Prefer min 2 years' experience gained in an Industrial/Manufacturing, Production Management, Lean Engineering background or environment.
• Prefer minimum 2-4 years' experience using process improvement tools.
• Strong People Leader and team builder with a track record of creating followership and influencing peers.
• Data driven, process-oriented thinker; exercises sound judgment in analyzing problems from multiple perspectives. Understanding of operations with a focus on lean/continuous improvement.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience of participating in and leading Kaizen or improvements initiatives.
