Contract System Engineer (4 months)

Job Description

• Maintain the corporate systems in a racked Windows/Intel environment and Cisco networking device, Video Conferencing and Virtualization Servers in VMware ESX and Windows Hyper-V
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and fix hardware/software faults
• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and application systems
• Keep track of the Automatic Monitoring System and System Health Check, Service Desk, Technical Problem solving and escalation to the management for any outstanding issues
• Assist in analysing telecommunications problems and make necessary improvements
• Set up new user’s accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
• Perform 1st and 2nd Tier User Support
• Test and evaluate new technology solutions

Qualifications

• Information System /Computer Studies Diploma or above with minimum 4 years relevant working experience
• Certification of Microsoft or Cisco is a plus
• Knowledge in MS platform for example: AD & Windows Server and Client
• Advanced knowledge in MS O365 administration, Server, MS Exchange, MS SQL 2008, Active Directory, Group Policy and Cloud Computing
• Perform 1st & 2nd Tier User Support with ITIL standard
• Symantec Enterprise for threat management and backup and recovery
• Strong communication skill and interpersonal skills with analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• A good team player and self-motivated
• Immediate available is highly preferred
