We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to lead our accounting team and drive strategic financial initiatives at our thriving beverage manufacturing company. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support business growth and profitability. 2. Cost Management: Implement cost control measures and analyze financial data to optimize operational efficiency and minimize expenses. 3. Internal Control: Developing and implementing internal control policies, procedures, and systems within specific areas of the business. 4. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for stakeholders and management. 5. Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and lead internal and external audits to maintain financial integrity. 6. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide finance team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Primary Responsibilities: • Ensures that the internal control systems of the company are installed and properly followed. • Oversees external financial audit. • Initiates and prepares financial and operating reports. • Ensures that the books and records of the company are adequately maintained and meet Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; conducts internal audits as necessary. • Prepares the budgets and financial plans of the company, compares them to actual results, and suggests remedial action. • Conduct special analytical studies as needed for the CFO, COO, and Board of Directors. • Supervision of the accounts payable. • Coordinates changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company. • Analyzes cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyzes financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas. • Plans and complies with tax regulations, state, local, and federal. • Maintain the financial policies of the company and ensure compliance. • Ensures that the financial department is adequately staffed and trained. • Other duties as assigned.Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred). • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in the beverage industry. • Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards. • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
