Controller

Responsibilities: • Monthly financial reporting; P&L, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows • Full ownership of the month-end close process with assistance from our Staff Accountant • Oversight of the Accounting team to ensure timely responses and processes are followed • Financial planning and analysis • Full engagement with lenders, CPA’s, and all forms of auditors • Treasury management including oversight of fraud prevention measures • Gross margin analysis and costing for products built • Leadership, training, and development of the accounting team • Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations • Continuously evaluate processes and systems to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement • Ad hoc reporting Must Have Skills & Experience: --Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance --12+ years of progressive cross-functional experience in an accounting --Minimum 3 years in a Controller role --Manufacturing industry experience --5+ years of experience will full month-end close responsibility --5+ years of financial statement preparation --Experience with managing an accounting team --Hands on experience with managing and responding to all forms of audits; CPA, 401K, Sales Tax, Property Tax. --An ability to create and maintain budgets --An ability to perform top-level financial projections --Inventory accounting experience, especially WIP --An ability to draw upon past experiences to solve new problems --Top-tier written communication skills with internal teammates and outside parties Strongly Preferred: --CPA or MBA --Experience with A/R & A/P management to support the team --Experience with payroll admin functions and reporting via Paylocity/Paycheck or comparable software --Electronic manufacturing industry experience --Experience with ERP systems in general and Expandable ERP in particular Job Type: Full-time Pay: $180,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off Work Location: In person
