This position is on the night shift (6pm - 2am). Must have High school diploma or GED. This is a night shift position. Must have 6+ months of related experience. Salary range: $16.50 - $26.62 per hour;hiring range for new employees is generally $16.50 - $21.12 per hour, DOE.Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role. Understands and supports EAH’s mission and core values. RESPONSBILITIES • Periodically patrols buildings and grounds of property, inside and out. • Examines doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure. • Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles, and contacts police if persons are engaging in suspicious or criminal acts. • Inspects equipment and machinery to ascertain if tampering has occurred. • Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked. If necessary, observes departing personnel to guard against theft of company property. • Sounds alarm or calls police or fire department by telephone in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons. • Permits authorized persons to enter property (e.g., utilities and others who need access to units). • Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning machinery or equipment, for use of supervisory staff. • Regulates vehicle and pedestrian traffic at entrances to maintain orderly flow. • Posts/delivers notices such as noise levels, recertifications, inspections, events, etc. • Authorizes towing as determined by the Property Manager. • Attends mandatory meetings and trainings. • Maintains confidentiality of resident, applicant, and or employee information. • Actively participates in EAH’s Injury and Illness Prevention Plan • Regular and predictable attendance. • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED. Six months’ related experience.
