Job Description
As a Creative Merchandising Specialist you will bring our IP and corporate brands to life through high-quality merchandising products driving them from concept to final delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with our partners the team lead + franchise and licensing teams to create visually compelling work that strengthens our creative output. You’ll play a key part in upholding and enhancing the brand identity of our IPs across merchandising lines and partnerships.
Daily responsibilities:

Providing feedback on merchandising designs at all development stages including sample reviews to ensure compliance with internal brand and style guidelines. This covers packaging apparel accessories as well as marketing and social media materials.

Development of graphic assets for merchandising purposes encompassing packaging visual layouts iconography and complementary design elements.

Close collaboration with the CD PROJEKT RED GEAR team on designing and developing merchandising products — from the first concept sketches to the final product launch.

Delivering key design assets to partners — including source files and style guides (asset management).

Coordinating between licensing business development art franchise and production teams to ensure licensed products align with brand and quality standards.

Guiding the design and execution of impactful merchandise that brings the company’s IP to a wider global audience.

Tracking current trends in design merchandising and fashion to create timeless products that resonate with today’s audience.

Inspiring collaboration with artists creative agencies and business partners.

Taking international business trips including to the USA to attend licensing trade shows and industry events.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design or a related art field.
-
A strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design work and successfully released products.
-
5+ years of experience in graphic design or a related field.
-
Experience in designing and project-managing merchandising products (apparel accessories packaging etc.) with a strong understanding of their production processes.

Strong observational skills with great attention to detail and the ability to evaluate external projects quickly identify errors and clearly communicate effective solutions.

High level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator) Google Office Suite Miro Jira.

Strong understanding of design principles typography color theory and layout.
-
Proficient in English with strong communication skills.

Passion for the gaming industry and a deep understanding of gaming culture.

Experience and understanding of the licensing industry.

Additional graphic design skills including illustration photo editing and image manipulation.
