Job Title:Custodian Department:Facilities Reports To:Facilities Manager Schedule: 7AM to 3:30PM Work Location: 5801 Ayala Ave. Irwindale, CA 91706 Responsibilities • General Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors; dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures; cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces. • Restroom Maintenance: Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and urinals; restocking supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. • Trash Removal: Emptying trash cans and recycling bins; disposing of waste properly. • Cleaning Supply Management: Monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies Requirements • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies. • Ensure thorough cleaning and maintain high standards of hygiene across all assigned areas. • Complete tasks efficiently and within set schedules, often working independently with minimal supervision. • Follow and apply safety protocols when working with cleaning chemicals and operating equipment. Skills & Knowledge • Knowledge of various cleaning methods, materials, and chemicals. • Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuums, floor buffers). • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
