Job Description
The Customer Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for AEO (Automotive Engine Oils)/VM (Viscosity Modifiers)/SE (Small Engines) and IEOS (Industrial Engine Oils & Specialties) lubricant additive segments in North America region. Opportunity exists to support a major customer on a global basis.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Technical liaison with customers on assigned product lines.
- Provides solutions and advises customers on products & applications.
- Leads customer specific projects. Works closely with stakeholders, e.g. sales, product line, technology, customers.
- Communicates to customers the qualification & development of products to be commercialized.
- Keeps Oronite teams updated on performance requirements demanded and practiced in the market.
- Organizes & prepares technical presentations to customers as required.
- Supports the distributor network as needed.
- Supports delivering of set targets such as volume, margin and unit margin.
- Coordinates RFQ technical offers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree as a minimum
- Experience working with additives or lubricants
Preferred Qualifications:
- Build Relationships - Engage others by focusing on common goals, offering suggestions and meeting commitments
- Commercial Acumen & Negotiation
- Delivery through others on a global basis: Work closely with key stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver value to portfolio
Relocation Options:
Relocation may be considered.
