The Role:

Cognizant is changing the game in Data, DevOps, Cloud and Container based consultancy services. We enable enterprise organizations to capture value from their data, streamline their processes, reduce costs and increase efficiencies. We deploy teams to client sites (or remote through video conference) to help change mentalities and approaches by facilitating a DataOps culture through upskilling and pair programming.

We're looking for Senior Consulting Managers who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. At the Senior Manager / Associate Director Level, this means overseeing advisory consulting engagements, being a trusted advisor to clients, establishing oneself as a thought leader in your field, solving complex problems, consultatively working with a client to achieve business goals, driving contributions to offerings and innovations, and serving as a people leader, guiding multiple teams as they work to transform a client and the world. Your Role:

A Technical Principal in Data TechMod Consulting at Cognizant wears many hats. You're not only highly technical across a wider range of data technologies, practices, and disciplines, but you are also a driver of influence internally and within customers. You possess the ability to lead effectively and you are able to come up with innovative ways of evolving the technical environments.

You will also provide technical guidance and lead the definition and development of data engineering, data analytics, and automation initiatives on a wide range of client projects. This includes an in-depth understanding of Data platforms, Cloud Data Engineering, tools and implementation of cloud data architecture to effectively capture, integrate, organize, centralize, and extract insights from data.

Requirements: • 6+ years experience in Data Engineering, preferably with prior Consulting experience. • Proven leadership mentoring and coaching experience across various skill levels. • Experience working in complex, Enterprise environments with good grasp of architecture design and hands-on delivery. • Strong experience and deep understanding of building public cloud based (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure) data engineering solutions. • Such as design and development experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP Data Pipeline products and solutions. • Experience in designing and/or implementing AWS, Azure and/or GCP Data Platforms including data monitoring and observability solutions. • Experience implementing data policy management, data governance, data management desirable • Cloud Native Operations (e.g. kubernetes, lambda, etc.) desirable • Experience in designing and implementing data solutions on AWS, GCP and/or Azure • Understanding Artificial Intelligence, Gen AI and/or Machine Learning processes or experience with MLOps • Strong data architecture, data warehousing, data integration and data manipulation experience • Expert skills with Java, Python or at least one similar language • Expert in at least one data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, QuickSight) is preferred

Thought Leadership: • Contribute assets/content to Cognizant knowledgebase • Contribute to thought leadership within practices

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $131,880 - $203,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
