What Are We Looking For:

We are seeking a self-motivated and proactive Data Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a greenfield project, building a data platform from scratch on AWS using a modern data stack approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Platform Development: Build and maintain AWS data platforms; implement ELT pipelines with Fivetran.
• Data Transformation & Modeling: Perform SQL/dbt transformations; develop star/snowflake schemas.
• Data Warehousing: Manage and optimize data warehouses (e.g., Redshift).
• Infrastructure Management: Familiarity with Terraform for cloud provisioning; familiarity with orchestration tools.
• Business Intelligence: Create dashboards and monitoring using Metabase and Grafana.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years in data engineering, warehousing, or related roles.
• Technical Skills:
• ELT pipelines (e.g., Fivetran), SQL, AWS (S3, EC2, DMS).
• Data modeling (star/snowflake schemas), dbt, Python.
• Terraform, BI tools (Metabase, Tableau), orchestration tools.
